Introducing 'Choose Life'

The 'Choose Life' rose is being introduced through White Forest Nursery, here in Bakersfield, California. It is a pink blend floribunda rose with exhibition form that blooms in large clusters and is very disease resistant in our climate. There are a limited number of plants (full-size, own root) that are on sale starting today for $17.99. We are donating all of the wholesale income to two local groups that support life. This rose is dedicated to life - adoption rather than abortion; treatment of depression rather than suicide; and comprehensive end-of-life care for the elderly and terminally ill rather than euthanasia. Please join with us in supporting life and share with your friends. Thank you so much.

  2. Hi Sally,

Right now it's only available locally but I hope that it will have wider distribution in the future.

  3. I would be glad to send a donation for one rose to support this cause if they could deal with that at the nursery. Perhaps you know someone who would love this rose but could not afford to purchase one and who would also be blessed by the donation...?

    1. I don't want this to be a hassle for you, so let me know if this idea just doesn't really work. We want to support others who take a stand for Life! Thanks!

  4. Hi Sally,

Thank you for your generous comments. At this stage the rose is only available locally, however, when it is available more widely, please consider choosing one. In the meantime, please continue supporting others who choose life.

  6. Is there a retailer in the Fresno area who is selling this beautiful rose? I'm hoping "local" includes your sister City a few hours north on freeway 99!

  7. Hi Lesa, Thank you for your nice comments. I would be happy to contact one of your local nurseries to see if they will purchase some plants. I am hoping to find several nurseries around the country that I can send 50-100 roses to.

  8. Hi Ty, we are still trying to find a way to market this one on a larger scale. It is being patented and any profits will be donated to non-profits that support life affirming values.
