Believe it or not, the last photo above is from a cross of 2 of my favorite Hulthemias. I suspect that the blotch is hidden under the white eye. I will have to try crossing this one with a normal rose to see if the blotch can be recovered…..
Thank you Jill! That first one really caught my eye while going through the greenhouse. It is a Hulthemia too, but with a very small blotch. The filaments were almost black - a very strange, but interesting rose...
No, wait wait! You are missing out on a big opportunity--- reverse blotches! :P
